A little saying or two that passed through my mind today, that I came up with or was chemically induced to do so (joking)
Today was the last day at fort whyte for this week, and luckily, trevor (basically my brother now) and I snagged another week of fort whyte at the end of august. So two long weeks of stuff and then another long week after the volunteering and then... institutionalized psyco, dazed and authority-ridden, but also friend filled (school).
First, what I really loved today, filled me with joy, real joy mind you, not "errrrr, I'm so joyful, errrrrrr". There's this kid this week at Fort Whyte that I've had the pleasure to listen to, he has a real good imagination, and loved telling his dreams to me, which I enjoyed hearing because he was using his mind so well. While other kids would just stop by and say "Why are you thinking about THAT?!", he would be wondering about it. It was funny, after telling me about 4 dreams he had last night and such, he said something like "and you haven't even heard my daydreams yet", he's sort of dazed, talks weird, out of touch with the physical world but he's been a friend this week. So, with the backstory explained, when he was leaving today, I high fived him, and after watching him and his mom walk to the back of fort whyte, I was considering whether to tell his mom something. I eventually got the courage to, or more just went and did it, and I reccomended that he take an acting course at MTYP or whatnot, since his imagination is so well used. She loved the comment, and her sister had suggested the same thing. I walked back into the building full of joy, it was truely wonderful, which leads into this saying that I came up with from the week's experience --
at first, loving in new surroundings is hard, with little firm ground, but it really is the only way to go, and when you feel accepted (even though you were from the start in some far off way), wooah, you start to feel the love that you've been courageously giving - and that's one helluva experience.
another quote, or saying I came up with today was:
"the simplest things often contain the deepest messages", complemented by my mom's quote she heard "God speaks in short sentences", if you beleive in god which I am starting to realize, and become more akin to the idea.
you can quote me on that
:-D

...
um...ok....
because brb's can be long time
but i don't know exactly what the quotations mean. they could mean your not coming back, or that you aren't actually leaving, or soemthing else
ooooh
ok
9:20 PM
BACK

this computer is suicidal
it keeps trying to dump it's memory
oh i haven't heard of that.. maybe cuz i use a MAC
it's this PARTICULAR windows that is crap
pfffffft
what EVA
what was the last "true" ots?
pluots
wanna start a computer repair shop with me and paul?
and a mango plantation with me?
okay
we can include a mango inside each computer, for extra speed
what's YOUR favourite fruit joel?
it would rot and give off a rahter pleasent smell
hmmm
the apple, since it quenches your thirst, gives you seomething pleasent to chew on and is most widely available
that is a good choice
yes most for sure
how about you?
i prefer the mango, because, although it is sometimes hard to acquire, and sometimes expensive, and has a tough peel, the inside is sweet, and delicious, and teeeender, making up for the peel and lack of availability and priciness
and it is easy to cut up
for...some...reason...
lessse whats a mango... isnt it those metallicy tasting things?
awww, they're green n red and all metallicy
well, they don't taste metallic, so i'm gonna go with no on that one
they're green n red on the outside
yeah
but...you don't eat that part...
and if you eat mangoes, you turn out to look like this
http://www.jedsart.com/Mango%20Tree%20Woman.jpg
am i going to regret this?
no
OH GOD
OH GOD
OH GOD
, it's true, i've seen people who turn out like that
it's a sad fate
yes, yes it is
9:35 PM
so what do we do on this mango plantation?
grow mangos
and hire people using a systems of pulleys connected to bus shelters
ok i doubt we'd actually get mangoes but we can imagine them so it's as good as real
yep
hmmm... ooooh!!!! good idea, that's not hiring though that's enslaving
well, ya, but i'm sure there's a loop hole somewhere in the legal system that allows it
mangoes don't do well in fruit salads, true, but they are delicious by themselves
hmmmmmmmm emmmmmm ammmmmmmmm maybe i'll have to try them someday
we should also try to grow a banana tree
you should
ya!
sweet, so we'll have like a row of fruit trees
yaaay
i could come over this week sometime
to work on it
and grow fruit trees
yes
yeah
meebee friesday
there is actually a grouping of people being organized for sometime, possibly this week, though that wouldn't involve fruit tree planting i don't think
no no i don't think so
when?
i don't know
yes
yet*
mmmmmmmm i'm busy during the day letting the sun suck ALL OF MY ENERGY OUT OF ME and being with little kids who i do not know to much
ah
at mtyp?
no fort whyte
ahh
RIGHT
right...
AND YOU WILL INFILTRATE DEWAR'S WEDDING, CORRECT?
damn... don't know which day it is but we would like to
well, i'm sure SOMEONE who works at fort whyte (like...more permanently than you) would know when it is
Ooooh!!!
good idea
yeees
yessss but its in the evening but on that topic, do you wannna contribute some hard n dirty cash to my mom and dad and i and other poeople hopefully's gift to dewar and his "wife", like for a wedding gift or something?
sure
how much should i contribute?
and how hard and DIRTY should it be?
hmmm i''lll ask
oook
9:50 PM
maybe like 5, 10 bucks of very very very hard, amazingly dirty cash
ok
can i use that in my msn name?
or, i should say, can i quote you on that?
fo sure
ok
whatever
9:55 PM
brb - cereal
k
OO
cereal
that reminds me
you should read things like your thing about cereal at writer's circle
i, for one, would find it more interesting than your reading journals, no offense
hey, would "narrow scope of reality" mean they like...only believe what they want to believe, or something more like their world is less real than fake?
You left the chat by logging out or being disconnected.

bakc
k
i'm definately reading that stuff there, yeah it's more interesting cuz it appeals to wider range of people
and stuff
ya
narrow scope of reality?
ya
did i write that?
what does it mean?
no
i did
lol
like write a sentence with it
k, just a sec, it's in the song that i'm listening to right now (odd coincidence), so i'm gonna wait for that verse and then use it to make a sentence
ok
ok
"you keep messing up my narrow scope of reality" (that isn't what it saysin the song)
that isn't a very helpful sentence, is it?
is it like "bob saw things only through his narrow scope of reality"
is that the same thign?
i think that could work, yes
you know a paradigm'/
?
....
no
the way you see things, if i'm angry, i'm seeing everything through a angry paradigm, so i'm more likely to see bad things
ohhh k, though that still doesn't really answer my question
though
it may help in finding the answer
i would say it's like bob is only seeing things his way, his narrow scope of reality, and is not open to the way other people view reality
oook, that sounds like it makes sense, thank ya
like if someone wants to do something and noone else wants to do it so they go into a fit
yeha
what song is it?
stupify by disturbed
what does your name mean?
about how people take on tons of different things, but can't focus on one well enough to do it well, and i applied that to myself since i have five blogs
ooooook
10:20 PM
what'd you do today? and why did you do it?
Benjamin Groening has gone offline.
10:25 PM
Benjamin Groening is now online.
sooorry about that, computer tried to commit suicide again
i will now answer you question which i began to answer before the computer tried to commit suicide
ok
today i slept, because i fell asleep, because i was tired, and then i woke up, because i was no longer tired enough to sleep, then i went downstairs because there was nothing to do upstairs, and watched tv for an hour because i was still too tired to do anything, then went on the computer to see who was on msn, then talked on msn for a while because there was an interesting person on, and then the
10:30 PM
computer committed suicide because it is crap, and when i came back the interesting person was gone, for reason unknown, then i watched lock stock and two smoking barrels again, because it is a really good movie, while playing halo, because i almost always feel the need to multitask, then i went on the computer because i could think of nothing better to do, and talked to people because i felt the
need for slight social interaction, and filled out a long survey, because i wanted to, which took a long time because hotmail kept taking me back to my drafts for no reason, and then i finished the survey and ate supper, because i was hungry and it smelled good (and it was, because of the ingredients involved), and then i lay on the floor because it was cooler there, and because i was very full,
hahah this is very good, reading the survey, go on
then i went to get money to pay my mom because she paid for lock stock because i don't have cheques, and then i went to sir to get a CO2 cartridge for my new air gun, but SIR was closed because...i don't know why, so i went to canadian tire to get the co2 cartridge, and bought one, and then i went grocery shopping with my mom and dad because we needed more groceries, then i went home because there
10:35 PM
was nothing more to do away from home, and i used my airgun in the garage because it would frighten the neighbours if i used it outside the garage, and because i wanted to shoot things, and then i came inside because i grew tired of the airgun because it was broken, and began pouring myself a refreshing drink because i was thirsty, and accidentally dropped and broke the jug because i was holding i
improperly*
and then i cleaned it up because it was my civil duty, and then i came on to the computer because i could think of nothign better to do
there we go
all done
wow
that's alot
yeah
well
you should blog it, or i'll put it on my blog
not actually, but it looks like it because of the reasoning
yup
you can put it on yours
ok
